Founder and lead doctor
Every plan at Zuri Luxe Studio is made by Dr. Poonam. Her approach is simple: understand the person first, customise the treatment to their skin, hair and body, and be honest about what will help.
Dr. Poonam completed her medical schooling at K.J. Somaiya Medical College and Research Centre in 2009, and went on to train extensively in aesthetic medicine, holding a diploma certification from DJPIMAC, Mumbai.
Over more than a decade in the aesthetic industry she treated more than 20,000 clients, over 6,000 of them with injectables, before founding Zuri Luxe Studio in Walkeshwar in 2021.
Her strength is customisation: working out what a person's skin, hair and body actually need, and choosing between invasive and non-invasive options accordingly. She believes in the best result possible within the resources a client wants to spend, and in saying so plainly.
She also holds a certificate in diabetic nutrition, and believes that over the long run, nutrition plays a real part in healthy, glowing skin.

A calm, private studio on Dungersey Road, a few minutes from Malabar Hill and Napean Sea Road.
