Who we are

Zuri Luxe Studio by Dr. Poonam Dharia is a doctor-led skin, hair and laser clinic in Walkeshwar, Mumbai. We're responsible for the information you give us.

What this website collects

This website has no accounts, no forms that send information to us, and no advertising or analytics trackers. When you tap a booking or enquiry button, WhatsApp opens with a message ready for you, and nothing reaches us unless you send it.

• Your device remembers your light or dark display choice. It stays on your device.
• Our hosting provider keeps routine server logs, such as IP address, browser and pages visited, for security.
• Google Maps only loads if you tap Show the map. Google's own privacy policy then applies.
• Messages you send us on WhatsApp are also covered by WhatsApp's privacy policy.

What we collect at the studio

• Your name, age, phone number and email.
• Your medical history, medicines, allergies and pregnancy status, where relevant to your care.
• Consultation notes, treatment records and consent forms.
• Clinical photographs, only with your consent.
• Appointment and payment records.

Why we use it

• To plan and give you safe treatment, and to follow up afterwards.
• To book appointments and send reminders.
• To keep the medical and financial records the law requires.
• To tell you about offers, only if you've agreed. You can opt out at any time by telling us.

Who we share it with

We don't sell your information. We share it only where your care or the law needs it:

• Laboratories or other doctors involved in your care.
• Providers who run our appointment, billing or messaging systems, under a duty to keep it confidential.
• Authorities, when the law requires it.

Photographs

Clinical photographs are part of your record. We use a photograph on our website or social media only with your separate written consent, and you can withdraw that consent at any time. We'll then stop using it in anything new.

How long we keep it

We keep treatment records for at least three years after your last visit, as medical rules require, and longer if a legal or care reason calls for it. After that we delete them or make them anonymous.

Keeping it safe

Access to your records is limited to the people who need them for your care or our administration. No system is completely secure, so please tell us straight away if you think something has gone wrong.

Your rights

You can ask to see the information we hold about you, correct it, or have it erased where the law allows. You can withdraw consent, and name someone to act for you if you can't. Some records must be kept by law, and we'll explain if a request can't be met in full.

Under-18s

We treat under-18s only with a parent or guardian, who also gives consent for their information.
